Worth Court
Sheltered housing run by SKDC, Worth Court is named for Charles Worth, who came from Bourne but is known for his work in Paris where he more or less created Haut Couture. Some of his dresses are famous, such as the Peacock dress:

Sheltered Housing
Worth Court was originally built by the BUDC but was extensively remodelled in 2008 and is owned by Lace Housing. I was surprised to see the facility being used for refugee families last year, rather than the elderly.

Eastgate House
Grade II listed house on Eastgate with a handsome 18th century brick façade to an earlier stone house. It was the lifetime home of Raymond Mays CBE http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raymond_Mays founder of ERA and BRM racing cars http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BRM who won the constructors' title in 1962 when Graham Hill http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graham_Hill won the driver's championship.

Eastgate at Bourne, Lincolnshire
Eastgate is one of the oldest parts of Bourne with a riverside walk and several historic buildings such as Eastgate House seen here on the left but residents have complained in the past that the area has been neglected by the local authorities and that its appearance could be greatly enhanced.
