Pea processing at Bourne, Lincolnshire
Growing peas is a major co-ordinated programme involving farmer and processor and crops are harvested from the fields and taken directly to the factory where they are given priority treatment within minutes of arriving to ensure that they reach the housewife in top quality condition.

The Kingdom Hall at Bourne, Lincolnshire
Jehovah's Witnesses have maintained a presence in Bourne since 1933, meeting in various premises around the town until land was purchased in Victor Way for a new Kingdom Hall which was built in 2004 with remarkable speed by a squad of 250 workers from the faith who arrived from around the country to finish the work over two weekends of concerted voluntary effort, a building for 150 people with air conditioning and central heating and a block-paved car park with 42 spaces.
