Platform extension work at Bishopton
Both platforms are being extended to accommodate the new nine coach Class 380 trains which are due to be launched in September 2010. This photo shows the west end of the up platform. The siding on the left leads to the former ROF site.

Bishopton Sidings
These siding at the west end of Bishopton Station are now well overgrown, but recent clearance work has revealed some of the tracks. The sidings served the adjacent Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF) which is now closed.
