The incomparable view that explains Kiloran Bay's top listing in Peter Irvine's Scotland the Best. So often imaged for Geograph, yet seen in different light and weather and state of tide one never tires of the thrill of being there. On this occasion it was 7.15 pm on a glorious June evening. Just one person on the beach and barely visible at the wide-angle scale of this photo (equivalent to 24 mm full frame). And it is scarcely different at rush hour!
