Castlehill gatepost
One of a pair of red sandstone gateposts at the entrance to Castlehill Crescent, near the site of Renfrew Castle. The stencilled letters RD are a relic of WWII and show that this place was a Repair Depot, Roads Depot or Rounds Depot http://www.researchingww2.co.uk/ww2-abbreviations-acronyms/ .
