Top of the climb - Loch Creran Loop
Once part of the main Oban - Fort William road, the Loch Creran Loop is now a minor country road popular with cyclists as a circuit is exactly 6 miles. This is the view from the top of the climb near Cnoc Lodge.

While the minor road around Loch Creran is generally flat, there is a steep climb from Inver to Cnoc Lodge. Cyclists beware!

Loch Creran
Until recently the main roadmade a detour round Loch Creran - and when the tide was high, there was a detour off the detour! A new road bridge has now restored the lochside to a tranquil backwater.
