The Bridge of Orchy Hotel, taken at dusk on a June evening. The hotel is situated on the trunk A82 road through Scotland's West Highlands.
In midsummer, darkness falls late in the evening in Scotland. This image was taken at 10:30pm when the sky was still light.

The Bridge of Orchy Hotel and bus stop
The embayment opposite the hotel is the bus stop for Citylink service 915 to Glasgow, which would have carried us back to Tyndrum if it had not been full. Thanks to the '247 Cars' taxi service from Crianlarich for the rescue.

Bridge of Orchy Hotel
Very popular stop on the A82. Here the "new road" begins over Rannoch Moor and into Glencoe. Opened in the 1930s it replaces what is now the West Highland Way over the moor.
