Northwest from McCaig's Tower, Oban
The tower is a superb viewpoint for the town and the surrounding seascape. Past St Columba's Cathedral is the north end of Kerrera with the low dark shape of Lismore further out in the Firth of Lorn.

Compared with Image the church steeple has disappeared and, judging by the new houses to the left of Corran Halls, may have been demolished to make way for them. McCaig's Tower stands on the hillside above.
