Asknish Bay
The view across Asknish Bay from Loch Melfort Hotel. The white patch at the far side of the bay is the masts of the yachts moored in the marina at Craobh Haven. It is amazing that this image was taken within a few minutes of Image]; such was the changeability of the weather this evening.

Tigh Na Dobhran
This stunning new house has been built next to the pier at Arduaine. This view is taken in the light of the setting sun. The citation for a design award on the Argyll and Bute Council's website stated: "This new house is located on the shore side of the public road at Arduaine and is an unashamedly contemporary design although employing elements (the black roof, white walls etc) that relate to the Scottish rural tradition. The building is orientated SW/NE to maximise solar gain yet ensure least elevational exposure to prevailing winds. The building’s space heating is provided by a heat pump and geothermal well."
