Converted ice house, Crinan Ferry
The building bears the date 1833 and would have been used to store ice for the local salmon industry. It has been converted by Laird Henderson into a one-bedroom dwelling and was the subject of a fascinating edition of the Channel 4 television programme "The Restoration Man". The glass extension using electrically heated glass cost £40,000. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-restoration-man/4od#3137251 Image]
