Wind Turbines Awaiting Embarkation at Cambeltown.
Manufactured by the Danish company Vestas near Macrihanish and only a few hours away from shipping aboard the approaching Image Seen here beside the new Ireland to Kintyre ferry terminal. All we need now is a few ferries to go with it.

Campbeltown Loch New Quay
Looking inland from near the end of the Quay. A lack of a ferry service to Northern Ireland (fingers still crossed) means the quay is used mainly for timber shipping operations. The strewn debris is tree bark and twiglets, the concrete pillars are used to support stacks of timber, while the machine used to move and load the timber can be seen parked to the left. Shipments of wind turbines are also made from here.
