Former Rothesay Academy
The original Rothesay Academy building was opened in 1870 and destroyed by fire in 1954. Both the later 1938 building (further up the hill) and the 1950s building pictured were abandoned in 2007 on the opening of the new Rothesay Joint Campus. The Category B-listed building pictured was built 1956-9. Architects D Harvey & A Scott.

Plaque at Sheriff's Court
