Bute - Rothesay - Castle - Northern section of the moat
The moat that encircles Rothesay Castle is not simply circular having many indentations and loops. Here part of the moat between the northwest of the castle and the western end of Castlehill Street is seen weaving through verdant lawns with a rather unfortunate 1960s building in thebackground.
