The building in the foreground was the first Tesco store in Scotland, opened by Jimmy Savile in the late 1970s. It later became a frozen food and fridge/freezer shop called Bejam and is now Iceland.

The Oak Mall
A 1960s/70s shopping precinct which was extended and roofed in the 1990s. Best seen from the inside. This is the west end of the mall at the junction of Westburn Street and West Blackhall Street.
