A761 at Linwood
The A761 continues under the railway bridge on the right and runs through Linwood, Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm to end at the A8 in Port Glasgow. The B789 continues straight ahead to Elderslie and Johnstone.

Railway bridge over Linwood Road
Carries the Glasgow to Ayrshire lines. The faded paintwork reads "TALBOT Home of the Avenger & Sunbeam". Scrape that paint away and you will probably find "Chrysler" and "Rootes" underneath somewhere. The car factory closed in 1981 and is now a mixed retail, leisure and industrial park. See also Image
