The phoenix rose from the ashes of the former Linwood car factory which saw various owners over the 20 years that it stood here.

Phoenix Retail Park, Linwood, Renfrewshire
This 1975 Hillman Imp was owned by Phoenix who used to operate from this multi-franchise site in Linwood. It could often be seen parked outside the showrooms or in the general area. The car itself was built here between 1963 and 1976 when the site was dominated by the Rootes/Chrysler Linwood plant. The factory closed in February 1981.
