Scotrail Class 380 train
Not yet released to service, this eight car electric unit has been running trials on the Ayrshire and Inverclyde lines which will be served by these new trains in the coming weeks. Platforms at stations on the served routes, including here at Paisley Gilmour Street, are currently being modified and lengthened in order to accept the new trains.

Gilmour Street railway station
The steps leading down to the Old Sneddon Street entrance. This entrance was closed for many years and was occupied by a model shop (McKay's Models).
