House in Thame High Street
Rather handsome - though there is no regular spacing of bays, and the two floors seem out of step with each other. The brickwork is eye-catching, as is often the case in Thame - bricks in a variety of colours, including vitrified blue. One curious detail is the blocked ground-floor window, transformed into a recessed niche - with urn. I'd find it hard to guess at a date for this building - though those neat first-floor windows would suggest the 1780's.
