Gate at Newhouse Farm
Despite appearances, the way through the farmyard is a public road. This was the fifth and last gate that had to be opened and closed on the way from Over Worton. At first an interesting novelty, later a chore, which is probably the landowner's idea.

Minor road near Nether Worton
The road is gated and runs between Nether Worton and Ilbury Bridge. Behind the trees is a large barn on Newhouse Farm.

Seen from the footbridge over the stream, the path continues over the electric fence and across the corner of the field. Most walkers will, however, follow the minor roads instead.
