Milton under Wychwood: The Recreation Ground
The entrance to the Recreation Ground at the junction of Church Road with the High Street and Shipton Road is guarded by an Oxfordshire County Council fingerpost. The signboard pointing towards the photographer shows the way to Fifield and, curiously, the local library.

This public house used to be known as The Quart Pot and closed around 2011. There was an abortive attempt to turn it into residential use. It was bought by new owners a few years later and re-opened as The Hare in March 2016. Image
