Ascott under Wychwood
Looking along the main street of the village. Many of the properties here are modern but still use Cotswold Stone to blend in. The village is still blessed with railway station on the main Oxford - Worcester line and so is well placed for commuting.

First Great Western trains, Ascott-under-Wychwood
Much of the Cotswold line is single track with short sections of double track, such as here, just to the west of Ascott-under-Wychwood station, where trains can pass. The eastbound train in the background has been waiting for the westbound train in the foreground to pass by.
