Former recording studio
From 1971 to 1999 this building housed the Chipping Norton Recording Studios. Those of us of a certain age will remember buying records and looking at the sleeve notes and reading 'Recorded at Chipping Norton Studios'. Many musicians recorded here including; Gerry Rafferty, Status Quo, Focus, Dexys Midnight Runners, Duran Duran, Jeff Beck and Chris Rea. In 2017 the building was recognised with a blue plaque Image
