Watlington: The Goggs
Old Victorian Ordnance Survey maps show that this thoroughfare was in existence in 1876, but the name is a mystery to the photographer. Was there possibly a connection with the cultivation of gooseberries?

Watlington: St Leonard's Church
This Grade II* Listed church dates primarily from the 12th and 14th centuries, but was substantially rebuilt in 1877. The tower dates from the 15th century. The chest tomb in front is Grade II Listed too.
