Headington Library, Bury Knowle Park
Taken on a mild,damp wintry day in January 2007. A lovely old house which houses the local library. In about 1800 Bury Knowle House was built for Joseph Lock (1760–1844), an Oxford goldsmith and banker of All Saints Parish who was Lord Mayor in 1813 and 1829.

Sculpture, Bury Knowle Park
Controversial sculpture: the trunk of the dead cedar tree in Bury Knowle Park has been turned into a sculpture featuring characters from the books of the Headington authors J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis: the dragon Smaug from The Hobbit, Aslan the lion from The Chronicles of Narnia, and the horse from The Horse and His Boy.

Sandfield Road - wet day
Side path which is at right angles to - and part of - Sandfield Road, with a view of Staunton Rd ahead.This runs parallel to Sandfield and both were old routeways for quarrymen who took stone and sand to the city for building purposes.
