Lakeside, Wolvercote
Suburban North Oxford. There is a lake just by here, an old gravel pit probably, but it's surrounded by houses and you can't see it much.

Bob Torrance
I took this photo of the two headstones in Wolvercote cemetery because I thought they were made by the same person and there was a similarity about them. There is an obituary to Bob Torrence in the link http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/obituary-dr-r-w-torrance-1075642.html

Beren and Luthien buried together
On the grave of JRR Tolkien and his wife Edith Mary (Pratt), their respective names Beren and Luthien are those of the lovers in The Silmarillion. Their fictional romance deliberately echoed the real life devotion of the Tolkiens. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tale_of_Beren_and_L%C3%BAthien
