Five Mile Drive blossom
North Oxford is renowned for its flowering trees which, even in early March in this case, seem to line the streets and froth over every garden wall. This is the view along Five Mile Drive looking east towards the Banbury Road.

Broken Memorial
I thought it was a war memorial at first but then saw the inscription which was a family one, the cross had broken off the top and lies at the base in Wolvercote cemetery.
