The Butchers Arms (1), 104 Corn Street, Witney, Oxon
A Grade II listed building, originally a private house, dating from the 17th century and remodelled in the late 18th century. Later alterations and an extension. At the time this photograph was taken in June 2011 the building was in use as a public house and had been for a very long time. It was long ago run by Phillips Brewery, then Halls. It was closed for a while and then re-opened in 1973 as part of the Enterprise Inns chain. By 2013 it has closed again and re-opened that year as a restaurant called Himalayan Spice. That didn't last very long and currently the premises are used as offices by the Mortgage Company Oxfordshire Limited. In the photograph an arch can be seen which was probably at one time part of the former pub. It now leads to a residential street called Coopers Mews.

Nos. 102 & 104 Corn Street, Witney, Oxon
On the left is No. 104 which is occupied by a firm of mortgage brokers. On the right at No. 102 is Proposals, a bridal shop which has been in business since 2004. No. 104 was for many years occupied by the now closed Butchers Arms public house and then for a short period by a restaurant. It is possible that at one time both buildings were part of the pub. The arch between them leads to a short residential street called Cooper Mews.

Entrance to Janets Mews, 100 Corn Street, Witney, Oxon
The entrance was presumably a coach arch and is under the first floor of the premises occupied by Witney Antiques. Almost certainly there was once a coaching inn here, and the mews would have been used for stabling horses.
