Henry Box Close, Witney, Oxon
A modern residential road off Gordon Way. The road is named after Henry Box, a grocer who became a successful businessman in London. In 1660, two years before his death, he endowed a school in his home town of Witney. This survives today as an academy and earlier it had been re-named the Henry Box School.

This unusual looking building appears to be built on stilts, presumably to avoid any flooding possibility from the nearby Emma's Dike. It is occupied by Sterling Clinics who provide weight loss and body contouring treatment using medically supervised non-invasive methods. They also have a clinic in Shrewsbury.

Witney Artificial Turf Pitch (1), Gordon Way, Witney, Oxon
Witney Artificial Turf Pitch is an outdoor floodlit pitch accessed from Gordon Way via Station Lane. The pitch is suitable for football, hockey, tag rugby and many other sports. It is available to hire weekday evenings and also weekends. There is also a function room available. The facility is run by BETTER, a Charitable Social Enterprise.
