The sign is fairly new, having replaced a plain text sign sometime in the period 2008 to 2011.

The New Inn (1), 111 Corn Street, Witney, Oxon
Located on the corner of Corn Street and Corndell Gardens, towards the western end of Corn Street. This is another of Witney's many Grade II listed buildings. According to the listing, it seems to have been built as an inn during the period 1790-1800. Some later additions. The pub has live music at times.
