The Three Pigeons (2) - sign, 31-33 Woodgreen, Witney
Quite a common name for pubs. This one used to be a Courage house. Their brewery used to be at Reading in Berkshire, but closed in 2010. Unfortunately some of the paint is peeling from this sign.

Churchyard, Holy Trinity Church, Woodgreen, Witney
The churchyard at this time of year is a delight for those who value wild flowers. Large parts of the churchyard are managed to encourage the growth of buttercups, bluebells and primroses. The church itself is not of great age having been consecrated just under 151 years ago.

Wild flowers in the churchyard, Holy Trinity Church, Woodgreen, Witney
A delightful place to be at this time of year as the churchyard is carefully managed to produce a fine display of wild flowers including native bluebells, buttercups and primroses. Even dandelions and cow parsley have their place.
