Towards Osney

Scaffold round the mill

Osney lock
Used to walk past here to go to the station but every Thursday we went to the Watermans pub in Osney just up the towpath.

Osney Lock
Osney Lock was originally built for the Thames Navigation Commission in 1790, apparently using labour supplied from Oxford prison. It was converted to hydraulic operation in 1970 and is now managed by the Environment Agency.
