Entrance to St. John the Evangelist Church of England Primary School, Shilton Park, Carterton, Oxon
The school is located in the Shilton Park Estate in the northeast of Carterton. Designed by F.J. Jewell & Co. of Oxford and built in 2002-2003. It was enlarged in 2007.

Marigold Square contains a few businesses, including a Co-operative convenience store, an estate agency and a few food takeaway shops. There is also the local community centre but the rest is housing and car parking. In this view, one of the attractive colonnades can be seen. See also:- Image

The Co-operative Food, 1-3 Marigold Square, Shilton Park, Carterton, Oxon
Shilton Park is a fairly recent development on the northern side of Carterton. The estate has a few shops and other amenities mainly in Marigold Square. These include this branch of The Co-operative Food, which usefully has very long opening hours, seven days a week. Its size enables it to stay open on Sundays from 8am to 10pm. Until late 2015 the Co-op also had a large supermarket & fuel station in the centre of Carterton. These then closed and Asda now operate from those premises.

Bus on Trefoil Way
Part of a large new neighbourhood recently built on the north side of Carterton. Nearly all the buildings follow this exterior colour scheme as a nod to the Cotswold stone towns and villages nearby.
The bus is operated by Pulhams Travel, a local company from Bourton on the Water who have been in business for 140 years and run a number of services in and around the Cotswolds.

Marigold Square, Shilton Park, Carterton, Oxon
A view of part of the large Marigold Square. It serves as the focal point for the Shilton Park Estate, on the northern side of the town. The square includes a few shops, including a Co-op convenience store, and other businesses. Carterton Community Centre is also here, although it cannot be seen in this view. Most of the square, however, consists of residential apartments.
