Fish in the brook
After meeting up with the guy in this photo Image he took us over to the mill to see the fish in the Letcombe Brook which had carp in. Rather surprised to see koi carp in it though, there were also a couple of ghost ones as well.

Mill Park, Wantage

The Shears (2), 39 Mill Street, Wantage, Oxon
Since this photograph was taken the pub has closed and full planning consent was given in October 2013 for change of use to five residential units. Interestingly the pub has, or maybe one should say had, a coach house, so is probably older than it looks. It does not seem to be a listed building.

Last time I came along Limborough Road there was a small trading estate there, now it finishes in this car park and a large Sainsbury's on top.
