Red Kite Way
One of a number of pictures I took on Great Western Park back in Feb. 2012 on a frosty day with the power station in full steam. I didn't submit this one at the time as I thought it was a bit samey, but only a year later much of Didcot Power Station was closed down. This scene, with the cooling towers giving it maximum, will never be repeated, so here's a bit of history. Update:- the last three cooling towers were demolished today, August 18th 2019.

Great Western Park, New Houses
Great Western Park, a green field site undergoing a massive development of new housing. The current (2012) map edition bears very little relation to what is now here. Very generous new cycleways. New Didcot is quite good in that respect.
