Wallingford Medical Practice
Not where I wanted to go today but my son had a blood test booked here; he had to stop at the entrance and wait for a receptionist (who stood a distance away in a mask) to ask if he had an appointment. After confirming it she came out with a number that went on the windscreen. The nurse came out around 10 minutes later in PPE with a tray which she asked him to hold and they took his blood while he sat in the car. I had to smile over this.

Chimneys in the Road
You learn something every day. If I'd given it any thought at all I'd have said that chimneys were constructed brick by brick by skilled craftsmen on top of the house. But no, they arrive on a slab and get stuck on fully assembled. Building site along Reading Road.

Open Space, Portcullis Drive
An estate of new housing is nearing completion here. A bit of building still going on in the distance, but this area has been left as open space. Whether it's staying that way as an amenity or the builders are coming back when they've got some more bricks, I'm not sure.
