Short cut around the back
An obvious shortcut to the CABI building off the Wallingford bypass. The sign tells you not to trespass, don't often see that now.

CABI from the back
This dismal looking building is the CABI, one that is seen from the bypass. It used to be in the grounds of Carmel College before the bypass went through. The path I am on would have been so as well. At one stage I am sure the place was for sale.

Thick with shrubbery
The area by the CABI buildings thick with shrubbery and in the summer the place will be unseen from the bridleway.

New Housing, Newnham Murren
Newnham Murren was an ancient parish mentioned in the Domesday Book but was merged with neighbouring Crowmarsh long ago. The name has continued as a scattered hamlet to the south of Crowmarsh village consisting of a farm, a few houses and the old parish church. But now with a lot of new housing going up just here the population of Newnham Murren is about to increase substantially.
