Brook along the street
I think this is Ewelme Brook which runs to here from the watercress beds. It flows from here through the village of Benson and past the mill before heading to the Thames. I wonder how many people have fallen in on the way back from the pubs at night.

Footpath by the Cottage

Benson: Brook Street
The street is so called because a brook runs along it - the brook which (further upstream) flows through the watercress beds at Ewelme. The brook is not visible in this picture, but runs between the roadway and the houses on the left-hand side of the street.
