Raven Mill, Chadderton
This is my version of Raven Mill. Shows the truncated chimney and the red panelling covers the rope race where the engine house has been demolished. Yet another P S Stott mill of 1905 and powered by a 1500 hp Buckley & Taylor engine.

Photographed across the building site that has replaced Gem Mill. This view from here was just not there 18 months ago and it probably won't be there again in less time than that. Time and the demolition man is waiting for no-one in Oldham.

Nile Mill
Showing the sad state of dereliction of the engine house and boiler house. This is despite the building being Listed Grade II. The height of the engine house is due to the fact that it housed a beam engine, one of the last of its type to be installed in a textile mill.
