Fairbottom Branch Canal
This is now the end of the canal just to the west of Bardsey Bridge that carries the A627 between Ashton and Oldham. This section is popular with fishermen.

Bardsley Vale
Looking down from Riversvale Drive at the carpark by the River Medlock. In recent years gates have been erected at the entrance - see Image - probably because it getting a reputation for being a venue for "dogging".
