Burlington Street
After the old terraced houses in this area were pulled down the land was used for car parking. Now at least half the car parks are being closed and the land is going to be used for housing again.

Another boarded-up pub. At the corner of Oldham Road and Burlington Street it was once a popular hostelry. It was first licensed as a beerhouse by John Stafford in 1864 and obtained a full license the year after. In 1903 it was a Wilson's pub but was later owned by Webster's Brewery.

The Eggfree Cake Box opened its first store in the heart of East London in 2008. The business is now a franchise and this branch on Oldham Road, Ashton is one of over 125 nationwide.
The premises were previously occupied by the Asian fashion store Mishaz (originally Rani Fashions) and before that Enterprise House.
