Ashton Cycle Hub
Ashton-under-Lyne Cycle Hub is fully enclosed with other security measures that include constant CCTV coverage and swipe card entry. It's somewhere under cover to keep your bike safe, secure and dry while you're at work. The Hub is open 6am to midnight every day. Cycle parking at this Hub is provided on a first come first served basis. There are similar hubs in Bury and Manchester and others are planned for Rochdale, Sale, Oldham, Stockport, Wigan and MediaCity.

Eggfree Cake Box
The Eggfree Cake Box opened its first store in the heart of East London in 2008. The business is now a franchise and this branch on Oldham Road, Ashton is one of over 125 nationwide.
The premises were previously occupied by the Asian fashion store Mishaz (originally Rani Fashions) and before that Enterprise House.

The Burlington
At the corner of Oldham Road and Burlington Street it was once a popular hostelry. It was first licensed as a beerhouse by John Stafford in 1864 and obtained a full license the year after. In 1903 it was a Wilson's pub but was later owned by Webster's Brewery. Although closed for more than six years Image it still has its sign Image hanging.

Outer Heaven - Out of business
This tattoo and body piercing shop, on Old Street near the junction with Oldham Road, is now closed and is on the market for sale or to let. Perhaps people don't go much for body piercing during a recession. Bring back the "Good Times" when we can have bling dangling from every fleshy appendage.
