Hey Farm
This bus stop (shelter hidden by the hedge) on Moorlands Drive Image is the Hey Farm terminus of the frequent "First" 350 bus route to Ashton under Lyne via Top and Bottom Mossley and Tameside Hospital. On the day this photograph was taken, another bus company had started a 20 minutes frequency direct route from Hey Farm via Ashton and Droylsden to Manchester Shude Hill.

Weaving shuttle sculpture beside the canal
Mounted on a concrete block in a backyard beside the canal. With nothing to identify its creator or purpose it was something of a mystery why it is here. But research has identified it as a privately funded sculpture by Paul Margetts on the site of an old weaving mill.
