Mossley Methodist Church
The first Methodist church in Mossley was founded in 1797 in Craddock St. This church was replaced by a new one on Chapel St in 1834. The present Church was built in 1964.

Market Street with Wardle High School band
The fifth entry in the Upper Mossley annual band contest 2012. The youthful musicians put up a very creditable performance particularly in the marching section where the girl Drum Major (certainly not majorette!) handled her mace with skill and aplomb with the classic throw and return.

The Market Place is a triangular piece of land in Top Mossley and has been a focal point for the community for many years. A blue plaque Image unveiled in 2015 recounts its importance in World War One. Alas it is no longer a market but a pay and display car park Image
