The datestone on Image Although the modern signs show this as "Leesbrook" (one word) Mill, the name on this stone (and on the mill chimney) show that it was originally two words, "Mill Brook".

Wise Old Owl
On the borders of Oldham, this wise old owl has gazed down from his lofty perch, at the frustrated fox for many years, apart from a couple of times he's been missing under suspicious circumstances - only to return eventually.
