Majestic, Orme and Cairo Mills from Turner Street, Waterhead
Three former cotton spinning mills that are cheek by jowl. Majestic is in the foreground and also the multistorey block on the left. The white scar represents the site of its demolished engine house. In the centre of the view is the two storey Orme Mill with a red band between the floors. Towering above in the background with its tower on the left is Cairo Mill.
