Greenfield, The Railway
Pub on Shaw Hall Bank Road; internally, opened up but retaining a separate snug. Bar left, eating and drinking right and back; a huge stack of charity pennies, pool, TV, jukebox. Cask ales on offer at my visit: Millstone Tiger Rut, Skipton Golden Pippin, Woodhouse's Blond Witch. A Tight Turn
Greenfield Brow is a real tight turn for buses and lorries. The building on the corner was built in 1860 and over the last 40 years it has been a shop a cafe and now a house again. Greenfield Railway Station is on the left up the hill where the cars are parked.
