Flat turnpike milestone
This milestone, on the Oldham to Stanage Turnpike, is unusual in that it is only two-dimensional, presumably because the carriageway is too close to allow it to stick out.

Old Milestone by the A670, Oldham Road, Uppermill
Metal plate attached to stone post by the A670, in parish of SADDLEWORTH (OLDHAM District), Oldham Road, Uppermill, by No.36; opposite Dentist's car park, by the road, on West side of road. Brayshaw & Booth iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th century.

Old Boundary Marker on Oldham Road, Saddleworth
Boundary Marker against a front garden wall on the west side of the A670 Oldham Road in Uppermill. Saddleworth parish. On the former boundary of Shaw Mere Upper and Lower Divisions.
