Delph station (remains), 1996
View SW, towards Greenfield: ex-LNWR terminus of short branch from Greenfield. The branch was closed to Passengers 2/5/55, to goods 4/11/63 - but it looks as if some track remains over 30 years later. (My Honda Accord is prominent).

Weavers cottages
This pair of old four storey weavers cottages stand at the junction of the A62 and A6052 known locally as Delph station crossroads. At one time in the 1960s the left hand one was a paper shop. The old blue Cadbury chocolate sign is still on the side wall today. Bailey Mill, Delph
This was derelict in 2010, having closed finally in 2000. The current aerial view shows that most of the block in this view has burnt down and been demolished but the chimney and some other parts were standing when the photograph was taken. Such a shame, I think it's a fine looking mill.
