Grains Road Shaw
The stone wall in the foreground is where the River Beal runs. JD Williams is a mail order distributor, one of two major ones in Shaw using old mill premises. From this viewpoint Grains Road climbs up to a junction with Buckstones Road.

Briar Mill, on Beal Lane, is one of several former cotton mills in the area. It was built in 1906.
