Salt Cellar
The Highways Agency has many of these huge barns adjacent to all our Motorways to store rock salt for gritting in winter. This one is by junction 21 of the M62, at Newhey near Rochdale.

M62 Junction 21 Milnrow
Over the last three years this junction of the M62 has been totally rebuilt at a cost of £5 million.
The construction of Kingsway Business Park on land northwest of Junction 21 at Milnrow, has meant a new eastbound exit slip road, construction of two new roundabouts on the existing slip roads and construction of a new dual carriageway.
